The coordination committee of the Muttahida Quami Movement has strongly condemned what it called illegal raids and arbitrary arrests of six MQM workers in Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, and Liaquatabad by Rangers.
In a statement, the coordination committee said that such discriminating tactics could not discourage workers’ morale and nothing could hinder them to struggle for their rights. It said that Rangers arrested Kamran Siddiqui of UC-7 of Shah Faisal Town, Ayaz Ahmed Siddiqui, Muhammad Amir of UC-5 Malir and Yahya Khan, Muhammad Salman and Sharafatullah of UC-41 Liaquatabad Town, and transferred them to some unknown location.
