The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday rejected the government’s notification against the increase in private schools’ fees and declared the move ‘justified’.
Justice Amir Farooq announced a short verdict in the fee hike case.
The court has directed the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) to seek recommendations from the private educational institutions before making new rules.
It may be mentioned here that the top private educational institutes had challenged the government notification in the IHC on September 23, 2015.
The government had issued directives either to refund the amount charged from students or adjust to the next payable fee.
With respect to IHC, it is more like stabbing in the back of the 'can not afford' parents.
Islamabad high court decisions seems not fair and so many people criticizing that decision. Govt should take action against the school on fee hike matter.
