Police on Tuesday gunned down a member of Baba Ladla group during a raid conducted in Lyari’s Baghdadi area.
According to police, on a tip off about the presence of criminals in the area, they carried out a search operation. The criminals hiding in the area opened firing at police party. In retaliation, Lyari gang war criminal and Baba Ladla group member Husnain alias Shetty Lal was killed on the spot. Police said the killed terrorist was involved in several incidents of extortion and target killing. Meanwhile, at least nine people including a banned outfit criminal were apprehended during a search operation in Manghupir area.
