Minister of State for Communication Abdul Hakeem Baloch tendered his resignation on Thursday.

He sent the resignation to the Prime Minister House with an explanation that he had met the PM on April 29 and had expressed his concerns regarding the problems of his constituency and his authority as a minister. He said that since those concerns were not addressed, he decided to resign.

The PM House is not aware of the resignation of the state minister.

“We have not received the resignation letter from the minister. If it is received, the prime minister is the final authority to decide whether or not it is accepted,” said the PM House spokesman.
