A local stage actress sustained burns after her cousin threw acid at her on Wednesday.
The local stage actress Anum was at main bus terminal of the city to depart for Lahore when her cousin hurled acid at her, said police.
The suspected attacker was against Anum’s stage performances. He wanted her to leave this profession but she refused which led to the inhumane incident.
She was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
