Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has said that the country’s enemies are involved in hatching conspiracies and disturbing peace in Balochistan in order to thwart the mega project of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The chief minister vowed that enemies of Pakistan would not be allowed to impose their nefarious designs on our land.

He was addressing a meeting of the divisional commissioners which was held to review law and order situation across Balochistan.

The meeting was also attended by Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Chief Secretary Saifullah Chattah, IG Police Ahsan Mehboob, Home Secretary Dr Akbar Harifal and officials of intelligence agencies.

The chief minister said our enemies cannot tolerate the CPEC project; therefore, they have been hatching conspiracies and committing anti peace acts to damage peace in Balochistan.

He said that law and order situation has improved during the last five months due to the remarkable joint efforts of the government and the security forces.

He said that elements trying to disrupt peace will be dealt with iron hands.

Expressing concern over the kidnapping of Asad Tareen, the son of the local government minister, the chief minister said that it is a test case for the government and he wants safe recovery of the abductee within a week.

“It is the responsibility of all the law enforcement agencies to ensure safe and early recovery of Asad Tareen,” he added.

  1. US with the help of India, Afghanistan and now Iran to destabilize Pakistan and occupy the Gold Mines and Oil Reserves in Baluchistan and KPK. The government of Nawaz Shareef is also helping Modi of India in this game because of their close business relationship with steel magnate Mithal and therefore not starting welfare projects for the masses; water, housing and jobs.
