PCB announces players for Lahore training camp

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Tuesday (today) has announced the final squad for training camp in Lahore for upcoming England Test series.

The team is currently working hard at the training camp organised by PCB in collaboration with Pakistan army at Army School of Physical Training in Kakul.

The underway boot camp would conclude on May 27 after which the players will leave for Lahore.
The Lahore camp will commence on May 30.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the final squad for upcoming England Test series in the first week of June.

According to the details, 21 players have been shortlisted for the England Test series.

Sami Aslam along with Khurram Manzoor and Shan Masood has been shortlisted as openers for the test format.
Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, Younis Khan, Imran Khan and Rahat Ali have only been shortlisted for the test version of the game whereas One Day International (ODI) skipper Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam and Junaid Khan have been shortlisted for both test and ODI format.
All rounder Mohammad Hafeez and spinner Yasir Shah will be part of all three squads subject to their fitness whereas Twenty20 captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz have been shortlisted in the three formats of the game.
Shoaib Malik has only been shortlisted for one day format whereas Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Iftikhar Ahmed and Anwar Ali have been named in the T20 format only.
Pakistan will play four tests, four one day internationals and a Twenty20 game against England in the tour.

The first Test match would be played on July 14.
