Unidentified miscreants attempted to slaughter a seven-year-old school-going boy in Chiniot on Saturday.
According to details, seven-year-old Saqib Ali was badly wounded after the culprits tried to slit his throat.
He was rushed to Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital where doctors said he was in critical condition.
Fear and tension gripped the area following the slitting incident.
