Immediate results shouldn’t be expected from cricket team, says Basit Ali

Pakistan A Team Coach Basit Ali stated that he is optimistic that the side will produce good enough results during the tour to England while conversing with the media on Thursday.

Pakistan A team players underwent training in extremely hot conditions under the watchful eyes of Coach Basit Ali. He stated that the team shall head towards England after being well prepared.

He said that players will be given a chance to represent the side based upon their talent so that they may be selected to the national side in the future as well. He added that immediate good results should not be expected from the side.

The team will play Two One-Day International (ODI) matches and two 4-day matches against Sri Lanka A team and will also encounter England A team in 2 ODIs and one T20 match during the tour to England. The side will also face Yorkshire in a 4-day match.

Spinner Yasir Shah also practiced with the team.

  1. It is amazing how characters change. Basit was the worst cricket critic and now he is on the defensive! This is called corrupt politics.
