Gas supply to Chinar Bagh Scheme opens

LAHORE – Sui Northern Gas Chairman Mian Misbahur Rahman inaugurated the laying-down of the pipelines for gas supply to Chinar Bagh Scheme, a project of the Greater Lahore Housing Society, Raiwind Road, Lahore, said a press statement released on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by residents and other guests.
Punjab Ombudsman Khalid Mahmood, who was also present on the occasion, praised the efforts of the chairman and the executive committee of the housing scheme for initiating the project that would generate business activities and jobs for the residents, said the statement. The statement stated that Rahman said the federal government was endeavouring to provide gas to people despite supply problems.
The Greater Lahore Housing Society Chairman Zia Haider Rizvi welcomed the guests and thanked them for attending the ceremony, said the release.
He also read the message of Provincial Assembly Member and Punjab Food and Agriculture Minister Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor who had congratulated the chairman of the society and the chairman of Sui Northern Gas for initiating the project of providing gas to the residents of his constituency, said the statement.
