Heroin recovered from Dubai bound passenger

Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle heroin abroad and arrested a suspect from a Dubai-bound flight at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on Sunday.

According to ASF sources, during search in a PIA flight, an accused identified as Ali Irfan was arrested after recovery of heroin from him.

The ASF took the recovered drug into custody, arrested the accused and investigation has also been started to ascertain how the culprit managed to take the heroin to the plane despite strict security and screening at various points of the airport.

  1. How in the world do you smuggle that much heroin onto a plane? Glad it was caught. Seeing any amount of heroin removed from the drug trade is good. Still, that's a lot of heroin to smuggle through plane security. I wonder if that's possible in the US.
