In an All Parties Conference (APC) in Karachi on Saturday the participants belonging to different political parties reached a consensus that the government should make its foreign policy stronger on issues related to ummah.
Markazi Janmiat Ahl-e-Hadess organised the APC at Karachi Press Club in which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami, Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat, Jamat-ul-Dawah and other political and religious parties participated.
The APC condemned hanging of Jamaat-e-Islami leader Muteeur Rehman Nizami who was hanged in Bangladesh on the behest of Hasina Wajid government under fake allegations and demanded of the government that they should take serious steps on these issues and sent back the envoy of Bangladesh.
The APC also demanded that the government should make a stronger policy on issues like Syria, Iraq, and Palestine and play their due role to maintain law and order situation in the Muslim world. Addressing the APC, Advisor to Chief Minister for Religious Affairs Dr Abdul Qayyoum Soomro said that global imperialism got advantage from internal rifts of the Muslim world.
He asked that the international community should shun double standard on Muslims issues. He also showed solidarity with 34 countries alliance led by Saudi Arabia and said that they would sacrifice their lives to save Harmeen Sharifeen. Senator Nihal Hashmi, Assadullah Bhutto and others also spoke on the occasion.
