At least two people including an infant were killed while four other sustained injuries on Wednesday as a roof of a house collapsed due to torrential rain in Tangi area of Charsadda.
According to the security officials, the roof was dilapidated due to which it collapsed.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospital for medical assistance.
Separately, four members of a family died as a car submerged in flood in Khyber Agency’s Landi Kotal area.
The family was taking a patient to hospital when abruptly the car drowned in floodwater, killing four members including two minors.
The bodies have been handed over to relatives after medico-legal formalities.
