Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid told the National Assembly today (Tuesday) that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will attend proceedings of the house on Friday and reply to questions raised by the opposition.

Rashid response was to address a point of order raised by Leader of the Opposition, Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah.

Shah led a walkout of the opposition parties in the National Assembly, demanding PM’s immediate address to the Parliament’s lower house.

While talking to media, Shah said that the PM must clear his stance and respond to the opposition’s demands regarding judicial investigations into Panama Papers.

Shah added that PM should take parliament into confidence on his assets and tax details.

  1. We should roll out a red carpet for the PM. He has finally consented to appear in the Parliament for a one off appearnce before he proceeds abroad for rest and recreation. The affairs of the state are too taxing esp. this Panama leaks. This "nonsense " thanks to Imran is like a sword of Democles hanging over his neck. The more he tries to avoid it the more imminent it will become. Oh well i will do the nation a favour. I have so many other problems to attend to.

  2. Anybody care to compare Nawaz's record to Musharraf? He was more democratic than Nawaz can ever hope to be.
