LAHORE – Sayid Papers Stags continued their fine run and recorded a 15-run thrilling win over Chaudhry Sports in the 13th National Seniors Cricket Cup (Zonal Phase).
They piled up 202-8 at Ali Garh Ground with the help of Javed Hayat (61), Shahid Anwar (34), Fiaz Hyder (27), Kamran Khan (24), and Aizad Sayid (15). Muhammad Khan took three wickets for Chaudhry CC, who replied with 187, losing the match by 15 runs. Aziz Ur Rehman (39), Waris Ali (35), Najam Ul Hassan (28), Shafqat Hussain (26), and Muhammad Khan (24) were the main contributors. Stags bowler Zia Uddin (2-43) dominated the proceedings along with Javed Hayat, Sajjad Akber and Iftikhar Ahmed who took one wicket each.
