Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Raza Haroon said on Friday that PSP should not be regarded as merely a party of Karachi as it was a national political party.

Addressing a press conference at the local press club, he said they had received a good response from people during their April 30 visit to Lahore.

After completion of Multan visit, we will go to Gujranwala and Sahiwal to strengthen the PSP network, he said.

He added that PSP leadership was determined to improve party’s popularity in all cities, adding that it was the mission of the PSP to mend hearts that had been left broken due to sufferings they faced in the past.

He dispelled the impression that the MQM had terminated his party membership and said that he himself had left the MQM. He alleged that MQM chief had links with a foreign spy agency.

Raza Haroon said there was a dire need to launch a character building campaign to guide youth to positive activities. He said local government system should be strengthened to sort out people’s issues.

PSP leaders Iftikhar Akbar Randhawa and Karamat Sheikh were also present on the occasion.
