Supreme Court (SC) judge Sheikh Azmat Saeed has said that violation of law will not be tolerated and it will be fully implemented to achieve the objectives.
He made these remarks while hearing a case about the commercial use of residential areas in Islamabad on Thursday.
During the hearing, the counsel for the CDA told the court that 45 government officers were operating in residential areas and the Prime Minister’s Office had issued directives for vacating these offices till May 31.
Upon this, Justice Saeed asked what law the orders the PM House issued took. The counsel replied that the PM’s Office had given a schedule, and not time.
The petitioner submitted that the FIA had blocked an entire road passing in front of their headquarters.
Justice Saeed remarked, “Exposing sensitive buildings is not part of our job. We cannot make buildings of sensitive institutions a target for terrorists.”
Which LAW Sir ? There are two LAWs in this country. One for the common man and the other for the VIPs.
