ATC remands four in kidnap case

KARACHI – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday remanded four suspects to police custody until April 25 in a case of kidnapping for ransom. ATC Administrator Judge Karachi Justice Maqbool Baqar allowed remand of the alleged accused belonging to a political party.
As per details, Jahangir Khan, Saeed Alam, Aamir Khan and Ajmal Khan had abducted a man named Naimatullah on April 10 and demanded Rs 1 million 10 as ransom for his release. However, the abducted person called the Police Helpline 15 from his mobile phone and the Sachal police arrested the alleged accused red-handed from the Sohrab Goth area. It is worth mentioning that the alleged kidnappers and the abducted man are affiliated with the ANP.
