In a bid to tackle Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally to mount pressure on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after the Panama Leaks revelations, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has set afoot plans for a pro-PM rally in Lahore on May 1.

Reportedly, the rally will start from Qaddafi Stadium and culminate at Liberty Chowk.

Talking to media, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Kamran Michael said PML-N’s rally was meant to unite the country while others’ arranged such rallies to spread anarchy. He said the rally would be held under the auspices of PML-N’s minority wing.

Michael further said that those criticising PM Sharif should reconsider their opinion, as the company had aplogised on the fact that Sharif’s name was not included in the last.
