Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved a development package worth billion of rupees for Rawalpindi Cantonment.
PMLN-N MNA from NA-54 Malik Abrar Ahmed called on the prime minister in Islamabad for his nod to launch a host of development projects in his jurisdiction, a source said.
According to the source, the prime minister approved a 300-bed modern hospital on 10 kanals on IGP Road, the Cantonment Waste Management Authority (CWMA) at a cost of Rs200 million, Rs400 million development schemes in Chaklala and Cantt areas, two filtration plants costing Rs200 million, four high schools for girls and boys and one postgraduate college and a 1,000-kanal graveyard in Dhamial Rakh.
