With Pakistan Fashion week just round the corner, lets pause for a while and go back to how it all began. PFW is the brainchild of Team Riwayat and is headed by a team of directors from across Pakistan, India and the United Kingdom.
Adnan Ansari, is the Co-Founder and Creative Director. Followed by Chris East, who is the Co-Founder and Executive Director and finally Harsahiba Sethi Kaur, who is the Programme Director, together with over 100 trained volunteers and contracted professionals team Riwayat make PFW happen.
This edition of PFW has something exciting in store. This time, the famous stylist of Pakistan, Nabila will style the models for the ramp show and the show will feature Pakistani Top Models alongside British Models.
Furthermore, with over 35 participating leading and emerging designers, PFW 9 will feature the best presentation of Pakistan’s fusion of east-west fashion under a western roof on the biggest Catwalk to date in London, PFW9 promises to excite and captivate a global audience with the creative genius that is Pakistan.
The shows have been categorised into three slots and each slot will showcase 12 designers on the ramp. An exhibition has also been arranged by the Riwayat Team in London at the show venue for two days and then in Manchester for two days giving Pakistani Designers an opportunity to sell their collections to the buyers in UK. A lot of leading media giants in UK are supporting the Pakistan Fashion Week season 9.
