Mauritius President Ameenah Firdaus meets Governer Sindh Ishratul Ebad in Karachi

President of Mauritius Dr Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim arrived in Karachi on Sunday on the invitation of President Mamnoon Hussain.

She was received by Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan, members of the provincial cabinet and the Sindh Assembly at the Jinnah International Airport.

They discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting.

Members of Sindh cabinet were also present on the occasion.

Earlier on arrival at Karachi airport, the distinguished guest was received by Governor Ishratul Ibad, members of provincial cabinet and the assembly. She is accompanied with a nine-member delegation

During her four-day stay in Pakistan, the Mauritius president will hold talks with Pakistani leadership on expansion of Pakistan-Mauritius trade and economic relations.

Dr. Bibi Ameenah Firdaus will also hold meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain where matters of mutual interests as well as regional and international importance will come under discussion.
