With the arrival in London of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan People’s Party co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari, pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf Chairman Imran Khan, Federal interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Federal Finance Minister ishaq Dar, the PM secretariat has sent instructions to the national assembly Secretariat to shift to the UK capital with immediate effect.

“By this time, it just made sense to shift the secretariat there,” said Sadiq hussain Bhatti, principal secretary to the PM.

“The MNAs have also been asked to shift as per their convenience. After that phase, we would ask the Senate to follow suit.”

“Well, this is rather exciting, since it is the first time that all the key players of the parliament are going to be in such close proximity to each other, something we can’t ever see back in Islamabad.”

The government has also moved a motion to declare London as the summer capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

“We used to be run from London after the Raj took over from the Company in 1858, so it is not unchartered territory,

just a return to the basics. We hope it turns out well.”
