Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Mustafa Kamal on Friday reiterated his party’s demand for a ban on Altaf Hussain and his Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

“No RAW agent can run a party in Pakistan. A known and strategic partner like Altaf Hussain should never be allowed to head a party,” Kamal said while talking to media in Mirpur Khas.

He said that security forces had no right to arrest people if the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was not banned for its alleged links with the Indian spy agency. “In India, people are arrested for telling a wrong address; but in Pakistan nothing is done even when the whole party is accused of getting funds from the RAW,” he maintained.

“If all these allegations are lies than the MQM should be given a clean chit.” The PSP leader said that a British diplomat had already made revelations about MQM’s links with the RAW and he had evidence to back his claims. The MQM should serve the PSP with a notice if these allegations were false, he said. Kamal said the PSP would not let his workers and supporters become target killers or agents. “Our workers should treat their rivals like friends. There is no need to treat each other with enmity on political basis,” he said.
