Azlan Shah Cup: Pakistan to face Japan today

Pakistan is to face Japan today in 25th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia, local media reported on Friday.

Pakistan has lost four games and won one in the tournament so far. The greens stand at number six in the points table with three points. Whereas Japan is bottoming the table with no point as the team has lost all five matches.

Earlier, Pakistan was beaten by India by five to one on Tuesday.

Players have accused Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) in the past of not considering merit as a measure for selection.
