Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit London on Wednesday for medical check-up, the prime minister’s spokesperson said Monday, as a private news channel reported that back channel contacts are being made to arrange a meeting between the prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Zardari in London.
In an official statement, the PM’s spokesperson said that owing to his national engagements, the prime minister had postponed his medical check-up several times.
But, according to the news channel, several top leaders of the PPP were reportedly summoned to London for a consultative session and efforts were being made to arrange a meeting between Nawaz and Zardari during the former’s stay in the city.

Not likely but surely. Dr Asif Zardari is looking up to this old patient of his. Both have a doctorate on the subject and exchange of views always helps.
Report says Dr Zardari will not meet his patient in London. He will now see him in Birmingham.
