According to research, Pakistan is included among the top 10 worst countries in cases of rape. Mostly, these cases of kidnapping and rape cases occur in Karachi and Punjab. In the last year 14,850 kidnap cases were recorded of which 80 percent of them were allegedly raped. That’s four cases per day. Earlier in 2014, the rape cases increased as compared to 2013. In the year 2013, 772 rape cases were found but in 2014 total number of 1,582 cases were reported. Mostly these cases are occurring in rural areas at the age of 11 to 15 years of children. Half of such cases are not investigated and police is failed to control such terrible cases.
