PTV, parliament attack case adjourned till May 10

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has adjourned the hearing of case of attack on Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) and Parliament House till May 10.

Judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi of ATC Islamabad took up the case for hearing Tuesday.

Chaudhry Faisal Hussain advocate represented Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) while more than 55 accused also appeared before the court. Advocate Chaudhry Faisal Hussain asked for record pertaining to the case and requested the court to grant exemption from appearance to Imran Khan if arrest warrants are to be issued against him.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till May 10.

Secretariat police had registered a case against PTI chairman Imran Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Dr Tahir ul Qadri and hundreds of other accused on the charges of attacking the buildings of PTV and parliament house.
