SHO among 2 injured in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR – Two Police Personnel including Station House Officer (SHO) were injured in a roadside remote control bomb blast near Rehman Baba Colony here on Friday.
According to details, SHO Khan Razzaq Police Station and a gunman were wounded when their vehicle hit a roadside remote control bomb blast near Rehman Baba Colony in Shauba Bazar.
The Police mobile van was on patrolling at the time of incident. Police said that the explosive material was planted on a roadside.
The blast targeted SHO Abdul Sattar and gunman, said police.
Police have cordoned off the area immediately after the blast. The injured SHO and a cop were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility of blast so far.
