A man allegedly burnt his wife to death for not giving him permission for second marriage, police in Bun Bosan area said on Thursday.
Police officials said that Zafar Iqbal wanted to contract second marriage but his wife Asia was not willing to allow him to do so. This infuriated Iqbal and he tied her with a rope and set her on fire after sprinkling petrol on her. Asia died on the spot. A case has been registered against the accused and investigation is in progress.
