Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration Tuesday seized a huge quantity of dead chickens and arrested three accused during raid at a hideout in an area near the Golra police station.
The team booked two Shahzor Hondai vehicles that were reportedly being used in illegal practice.
According to the details, an ICT team headed by Magistrate Abdul Hadi and ASP (Saddar) Umer Khan along with the health department raided a hidden business place near Chungi No 26 in jurisdiction of Golara Police Station, and seized about 40 dead chickens.
The accused were identified as Muhammad Arif, Asif Ayaz and Sher Muhammad Khan. The accused were reportedly involved in collecting the dead chickens and supplying its meat to different shops.
The cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway in this regard.
