Promotion of teachers in Rawalpindi Division hangs in the balance as seniority lists could not be completed.
The seniority list isn’t completed even after the deadline of March 15 was given to the District Education Department by the provincial education secretary, causing inordinate delay in finalizing the list of 2,615 SST and EST teachers.
According to a source, promotions of 839 male and 676 female SST teachers and 450 male and 650 female ESTs teachers were to be made in the light of their recommendations.
