At least three members of a family were killed in an accident within Shams police jurisdiction.
The police said that the speeding dumper (LTW-1790) hit the rickshaw from behind at Kacha Stop. As a result, Muhammad Sharif, Muhammad Nazir and Muhammad Nisar were killed on the spot while dumper driver fled the scene.
The bodies have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
