A Rangers checkpoint in Korangi area was attacked with a cracker bomb on Monday, raising the number of such attacks to four this month.
The incident took place in Korangi No 2-1/2. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
On Friday last week, unidentified bike-riders hurled a grenade at the checkpost of the paramilitary troops at main Korangi Crossing, leaving two personnel injured.
Similar attacks had taken place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Essa Nagri areas on March 13.
