A joint session of the Parliament has been summoned to meet today (Monday) at the Parliament House building in Islamabad. The session will start at 5:00 pm.
According to agenda, seven bills will be presented in the Joint Session for passage. These include The Pakistan International Airlines Corporation (Conversion) Bill, 2016. This bill provides for setting up of the Pakistan International Airlines Corporation into a public limited company.
Other bills to be presented include the Gas Theft Control and Recovery Bill, 2014, The Emigration (Amendment) Bill, 2014, The Civil Servants (Amendment) Bill, 2014, The Anti-Rape Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2015, The Anti-Honour Killing Laws (Criminal Laws Amendment) Bill, 2015 and The Privatization Commission (Second Amendment) Bill, 2015.
