Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has said that Sunday bazaars are playing an important role in provision of quality edible items to the people at cheaper rates. He said that these bazaars have helped fulfilling food needs of common man. Due to usefulness of Sunday bazaars, their scope will be expanded so that maximum number of people should access these bazaars to rid price-hike, he added.
He expressed these views during visit to Shadman Sunday bazaar today. TMO Data Gunj Bakhsh Town accompanied the minister. Bilal Yasin said that special attention is being paid to provision of quality edible items and fresh fruit in Sunday bazaars. He said that after elimination of role of middleman, the farmers have been given an opportunity to sell their products directly to the people and earn a proper return of their hard work.
He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government is always endeavoring to facilitate the people to improve their living standard. He said that orange line metro train service reflects the same determination of the government. He said that government has diverted development resources towards welfare of common man so that every person could benefit from the fruits of democracy.
Issuing special direction to TMO Data Gunj Bakhsh Town, Bilal Yasin said that parking arrangements should be improved in Shadman Bazaar so that consumers do not face any problem of parking.
