KARACHI – The city government will clean and de-silt seven major drains by the middle of June to prepare for the next monsoon season, Karachi Administrator Fazlur Rehman said on Wednesday.
The administrator said this while inspecting the cleaning of Manzoor Colony and Mehmoodabad nullahs. He was accompanied by EDO Municipal Services Masood Alam. On the occasion, he directed the Municipal Services Department to clean all large and small drains before the start of the next monsoon season.
