The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday granted two days to counsel of former president Pervaiz Musharraf to submit an attested copy of a trial court’s verdict that issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Musharraf.
Musharraf’s Counsel Malik Tahir Mahmood appeared before the IHC bench headed by Justice Amir Farooq and stated that his client was sick and could not appear before the trail court. He stated that his client had also submitted before the trial court a medical report; however, the court issued a non-bailable arrest for warrant.
He pleaded the IHC to declare the trial court’s verdict null and void and implantation of its order should be stopped until the high court adjudicates the matter
