Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid said on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was in a habit of telling lies.

The minister, in a statement, advised Khan to review his behaviour as he might cause enormous damage to the nation and the country with such an irresponsible attitude.

He termed Khan’s negative approach a sign of ‘psycho mind’ who could not want to get rid of his unstable tendencies.

The minister said Khan knew nothing except levelling false allegations. If he had a competent team in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the province would have not suffered from different problems, he added.

Pervaiz lamented that Imran Khan did not want to see the positive approach and public-friendly deeds of the federal government.

Expressing similar views, Punjab Assembly member Zaeem Qadri said that Imran Khan had once again staged a drama in Multan and as always, the political puppeteers were making a futile effort to hoodwink the people by levelling baseless allegations.

He said that Khan was suffering from PML-N phobia and had fallen prey to extreme mental degradation, for which he needs treatment.

He said that Imran Khan has not said anything new and that he is engaging in telling lies, as he always does.

Qadri said that the PML-N government has given the biggest package for farmers in the history of the country and that all development projects of the Punjab government are an example of transparency. He said that people with ‘low political mentality’ do not want welfare of people and development of the country as they see their political death in the completion of these projects.
