Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Vice President Nasir Saeed said technological advancement was a key to success for business as not only it opens new avenue of progress and prosperity but also provides a chance to the business community to avail global opportunities with an ease.
He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of ATS latest machinery display centre here at Badami Bagh on Friday.
Pakistan Automobile Spare Parts Importers & Dealers Association (PASPIDA) Chairman Abul Hameed, Vice Chairman Mian Ibrar Hussain, LCCI Executive Committee Members Mian Zahid Javed, Abdul Razaq, Waqar Ahmed Mian, CEO ATS Amjad Wazir, Khalid Wazir, Sohail Imtiaz Butt, Faisal Imtiaz, Zeeshan Khalil and others were also present on the occasion.
The LCCI Vice President said Pakistani entrepreneurs should focus on innovation as it was one of the proven tools to win the global market. It was a good omen that the business community was diverting its attention towards modern technology and shifting their business operations on the latest techniques.
Only market and product diversification can help us make our way to the global market, therefore, the government and private sector should focus on this area by adopting a joint strategy, he said.
Nasir Saeed said the business community was the backbone of the economy as more than 90 per cent revenue was being generated through trade and industry adding that the businessmen should be facilitated in every way possible and for this purpose, the LCCI would continue to play its role pro-actively.
