Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has directed the authorities to ensure security at all examination centres during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination 2016.
The CM also ordered to chalk out a strategy to tackle cheating in examination.
He was chairing a high level meeting at the CM Secretariat which was attended by Provincial Education Minister Mohammad Atif Khan, the secretary E&SE, inspector general police (IGP), chairman Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) and other concerned authorities.
The meeting was informed that 2307 examination centres under the eight boards of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been established while about 0.8 million candidates would appear in examination.
The chief minister directed to finalise security arrangements for examination centres after consultation with the regional police officers, district police officers and the heads of respective boards. The chief minister ordered formulation of committees at district level for strict supervision of examination centres.
