White Lies

The much talked about, much married leader of the PTI had some time off recently. He was off to the beautiful, sunny Maldives, where he was joined by his two sons and daughter. Also by ex-wife Jemima, who is said to be also taking care of the daughter, a commendable thing to do, really.

A visit to the Maldives is time-critical, because global warming is eating the island up. Soon, there would be no island to visit in the first place. But by that logic, perhaps he should have stayed put in Pakistan and enjoyed being in government, because, much like the island-nation of Maldives, even that isn’t going to be around after the next elections.

Mustafa Kamal’s presser had all the tongues wagging. Does the former Nazim have the backing of the powers that be? Allegations of links with RAW usually are their staple fare.
