The rapid increase of use of coal for power generation has created air pollution. On the other hand, we have hydel power plants generating 6,000 megawatts of clean electricity which is also cheap. We have the means to generate another 3,600 megawatts of clean and cheap electricity and also get 6.1 million acre feet of water. Can anyone please tell me what is so wrong with Kalabagh dam that we are hell bent on converting fog into smog for our citizens?
