Supreme Court orders re-election in NA-267

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered re-election in the NA-267 case and upheld the tribunal verdict.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s Khalid Magsi’s victory was challenged by the opponent Abdul Raheem in the election tribunal.

Raheem accused the ruling party’s candidate of rigging the poll. Furthermore, the tribunal had given verdict in favour of the losing candidate.

However, the court ordered a re-polling for a National Assembly member from Balochistan’s constituency.
