PM vows to overcome all challenges facing Pakistan

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said the day was not far when Pakistan would become a prosperous country after tackling all the challenges.

“We are striving to take Pakistan forward, achieve progress and end load shedding,” he said while addressing a gathering of local people in Bhar Pur area of Chakwal after extending condolences to known Naat Khawan Abdul Razzak Jaami over the demise of his wife.

The prime minister said the government was working round the clock to end load shedding, which he believed would be completely eliminated at the completion of his government’s tenure in 2018.

Nawaz said he desired to see the farmers and growers achieve progress and the government was supporting them in improving their condition.

“Pakistan is gradually coming out of the problems. The time is not far-off when it will overcome all the problems and become a prosperous country,” he remarked.

The PM thanked the people of Bhar Pur and Chakwal for giving mandate to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. He also announced Rs 10 million grant for the provision of electricity in Bhar Pur and assured the people of area that the process of providing them electricity would be completed soon.

He asked the children present at the gathering to pray for the progress and prosperity of the country.
