The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a bid to smuggle one kilogram heroin to abroad and arrested an accused at Lahore Airport on Friday.
The ANF sources said that during search of baggage of a passenger leaving for Colombo through private airline flight at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, one kilogram heroin confiscated in jewelry boxes was recovered.
The ANF took into custody the recovered drug worth more than a million rupees in international market and arrested the accused Kashif Mughal, hailing from district Gujranwala. A case has been registered against the accused.
