7-storey building approved in Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial hospital

The Punjab government has approved a project of seven-storey grand building to be established in Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ/Teaching Hospital Sialkot at a cost of Rs 3.5 billion under the supervision of Kh Muhammad Safdar Medical College (KMSMC) Sialkot.

MPA Ch. Muhammad Ikram disclosed this while talking to newsmen here after reviewing the development pace of doctors’ hostel and nursing school there. Principal KMSMC Prof. Dr. Zafar Ali Chaudhry was also present on the occasion.

Ikram said that construction work on the project would soon be started, adding that the number of beds would swell to 1100 after the addition of 550 more beds in the hospital.
