PFA continues action against crooked eateries

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) continued its raids against eateries and food outlets offering substandard food on Friday.

According to details, PFA’s Gulberg team, headed by its Operations Director Ayesha Mumtaz, sealed the Ambassador Hotel at Davis Road due to unhygienic conditions. The PFA team noticed that the expiry dates on edibles were missing and the workers were working without their medical fitness certificates.

Moreover, a PFA team from Samanabad town sealed Marriage Hutt restaurant located at Wahdat Road for operating under unhygienic conditions. Also, Blessing Banquet Hall situated at Johar Town was fined for using spoiled vegetables.
