Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has approved constitution of Joint Investigation Teams (JITs) of 23 hardened criminals, including Uzair Jan Baloch arrested recently.
A statement issued from the CM House said that the chief minister had approved the JITs of 23 hardened criminals including Masood Alam alias Bhola Chacha, Mohammad Ayaz son of Abdul Qayoom, Mohammad Hamid alias Papu, Syed Azmat Hussain alias Azmat, Mohammad Arshad alias Asad Chhota, Mohammad Naeem, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Nasir alias Muchhar, Abdul Rasheed alias Kashif Beechwala, Mohammad Saeed Baloch, Mohammmad Mohsin, Mohammad adnan,, Mohammad Farooq alias Landi, Dil Murad, Mohammad Danish, Saleem, Mohsin alias Lamba, Rehan alias Shana, Syed Imran Raza, Mmahar Bux, Adnan alias AD alias Danish, Mohammad Aslam alias Muna and Uzair Baloch.
The JITs which are in the pipeline are of Mohammad Khurram alias Mota, Mohammad Farhan alias Fantar, Mohammad Naeed, Mohammad Shafiq, Mohammad Sohial and Minhaj Qazi.
The statement says that that the Sindh government is committed to eliminating terrorist elements from the province by taking drastic measures.
“The terrorists are our enemy and the enemies of our beloved country. We understand their nefarious designs and also know how to tackle them,” the chief minister was quoted as saying.
The people of this province have entrusted the PPP government in Sindh with their life, property and liberty, which would be protected at any cost, the chief minister was quoted as saying in the statement.
The chief minister said that after the formation of the JITs, the criminals would be prosecuted properly and that all necessary measures are being taken in this regard.
