Rs 688 million spent on PM Sharif’s foreign visits: ministry

Foreign Ministry in a report has said that Rs 688.276 million have been spent on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s state visits to other countries.

Foreign Office on Wednesday submitted the details about expenditures on PM’s state visits in the National Assembly.

It was stated that PM made 65 state visits in two and half years out of which he visited United Kingdom 15 times, Saudi Arabia five times and the United States three times. Foreign Ministry added that 631 people had accompanied the premier in his visits.

Foreign Ministry also said in the report that in a visit to France Rs 32.249 million were spent by the government.

  1. Majorty of the trips were personal, Nawaz Sharif is trying to be "Columbus", only difference is Columbus was on mission to find continent, Nawaz Sharif mission is trying to find personal business deals for himself and his families in India and UK, Middle East and etc….
